Our Commitment

Editorial Policy

Trust is earned in drops and lost in buckets. Here is exactly how we research, write, and verify everything on PregnancyPlate.

1

Evidence Over Anecdotes

We do not deal in old wives' tales. Every piece of advice we publish is anchored in official public health guidelines. Our primary sources are the NHS, the CDC, the FDA, FoodSafety.gov, and ACOG. If a piece of advice is debated within the medical community, we will transparently present both sides and explain the current clinical consensus.

2

Real Human Oversight

Pregnancy is far too sensitive for automated, unchecked content. Our articles are meticulously researched, written, and edited by the PregnancyPlate Editorial Team. We are responsible for the final wording, the nuance, and the practical application of the science.

3

No Fake Authority

The internet is full of "medically reviewed" badges that mean absolutely nothing. We refuse to participate in that. We do not attach medical reviewer names to our articles unless a real, qualified professional has actively scrutinized the page. If a registered dietitian or doctor reviews our work in the future, their name and credentials will be explicitly stated.

4

Continuous Corrections

Science evolves, and so do we. When public health guidance updates, we update our platform. If you ever spot something you believe is outdated or unclear, we want to know. Email us directly at support@pregnancyplate.com with the page URL, and our editorial team will investigate it immediately.

5

The Limit of Our Scope

We are here to educate, not diagnose. Our food safety guidance is designed to drastically reduce your risk, but it cannot assess your unique medical history, symptoms, or pregnancy complications. If you feel unwell or are worried about something you've consumed, your first call should always be to your healthcare provider.
